Animation

This is the final version of my facial animation, my character is answering the question "What is the last thing you remember."
The video is about an alien who's teleporter malfunctioned causing him to loose his body. This project was the result of a few weeks of work in all areas of animation from initial sketching, to modeling, to rigging, and animation.
Since the summer of 2000, the Department of Visualization has collaborated with a leading animation studio to give students a condensed “real-world” production experience. This summer Professor Andre Thomas, Teaching Assistants Gretchen Freitag and Cameron Coker, along with Disney Animation assisted students in creating a 30 second animation. This year's topic was simply "A story about a kite." Team Nautilus worked immensely hard on this project and we are proud to say we made something great.
Summer 2015
Final project for my Computer Animation class (VIZA 615) where we had to model an animal and have it interact with a biped character. The class focused on studying the movement of quadrupedal creatures as well as scripting rigs using python. Both characters (Lucky the red panda and Jason the mannequin) where created by me using Autodesk Maya 2012.
Spring 2015
"Gems are a prize for everyone but what happens when two competitive creatures have their eyes on the same one?"
The characters, environment, and animation were all created using 3Ds Max. The textures were custom made using Adobe Photoshop. The music and sounds were provided by http://www.freesound.org/. The video was then edited and strung together using Apple Motion 5.
Spring 2014
At some point in our lives we are all afraid of the dark. We grow out of this fear but we never truly become comfortable within the darkness.
Is this because somewhere deep inside we know that the dark holds more than we think? Is it that the dark is not what we should fear but what lurks within it?
All assets, characters, rigs and textures were created by me using Maya 2012 and Adobe Photoshop. Sounds were found using freesounds.org.
