Dolphin Science: Save Humanity

is an Unreal 5 arcade style game where you Race the clock to achieve the highest score Possible. (Developed for the Out of Office Game Jam)

The world is coming to an end and Dolphin Scientists, who secretly rule the world, have called upon their alien friends to save humanity. As one of those aliens, use your flying saucer to save as many humans as you can before time runs out!

My roles and responsibilites: Level Design and General Tech Art

  • City layout construction and placement of teammate-created 3D assets/environmental interactions

  • Blueprint implementation for modular buildings, props, and randomization of static vehicles

  • Optimization and profiling of game assets to improve overall performance

  • Assistance on menu design and widget interactions

Slime - Vertex Painted - Material

Dynamic Material with organized parameters to allow artist flexibility in creating a variety of Looks while being able to easily find and adjust Material Attributes.

Custom Rig created using a combination of manual and scripted techniques with A Hybrid Joint and Blend shape Facial control system.

  • Hybrid IK-FK Stretchy Spine with volume preservation

  • IK/FK Stretchy arms with elbow snap and forearm twist

  • IK/FK Stretchy Knees with knee snap (no-flip knee optional)

  • Includes snap script to switch limbs between FK and IK mode
